Chinnook and BOWdacious | The Twin Golden Retrievers

Chinnook and BOWdacious

Bow and Chinnook "The Golden Twins" were born March 28, 2000

Karen and I spent so much time in Canada that we were quickly drawn to the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. The picturesque mountains and mighty rivers that are such a part of that area helped us decide to enlarge our family and add two canine members. They had to be Golden Retriever males, born together and spend their lives together. We decided to name them Bow and Chinnook - For the mighty Bow River that flows through Banff National Park and the strong warm wintertime Chinook winds that blow through Alberta. Little did we know what the future held for future Golden owners. We learned two things: Always get 2 dogs, and nothing beats a Golden Retriever for love and loyalty. These two guys have spent every day and night of their lives together and they even grace the covers and pages of the "Orvis" catalogs.
